This interactive virtual workshop blends LNC practice, business education, and mentoring to help you launch or grow your LNC career. Led by experienced faculty, you'll explore:
- What legal nurse consulting is and isn’t
- LNC work product essentials
- Getting started in the field
- Roles as expert witness and behind-the-scenes consultant
The program includes an on-demand learning module plus a live, half-day event filled with practical insights, marketing tips, and peer connections. Join us for hands-on learning with seasoned LNCs and fellow newcomers.

Registration ends at 9pm the evening prior to LNC Jumpstart.
By attending this program, attendees will:
- Define the practice of legal nurse consulting and the roles of the legal nurse consult (LNC).
- Examine effective approaches and tools for starting and maintaining a successful LNC practice.
- Identify common LNC work products and methods to perfect skills.
- Define the role of a behind the scenes LNC for plaintiff firm and defense firm.
- Define the role of a testifying expert in a medical malpractice case.
- Identify the four elements of a negligence case.
- Examine how the expert nurse provides an opinion and what the standard of care is.
- Explain the documents needed before a case review.
- Discuss documentation that occurs after a case review.
- Review preparation for deposition.
- Discuss how deposition testimony differs from trial testimony.
Continuing Education: The American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
